What happens to your name and number when you ask Nashville Mold & Radon for a call, who sees it, and how to change your mind.

At a glance. Reading this site leaves no cookies and sends nothing to advertisers or analytics companies. Ask for a call back and your details go to our sponsor, Franklin Environmental Services of Franklin, TN, so they can phone you. We may also pass your request to other service providers, possibly for a fee, and you can tell us not to.

Who runs this site?

nashvillemoldandradon.com is an information site about radon and mold for Nashville and Davidson County homeowners. It is sponsored by Franklin Environmental Services, an independent radon and mold company based in Franklin, Tennessee, which answers the phone number on this site and handles call-back requests.

What do we collect?

From the call-back form

Whatever you type: your first name, phone number, your concern (radon, mold or both) and, if you add one, your neighborhood. The form also attaches a few labels for record-keeping: which site and page you used, the area that page covers (for example "Nashville neighborhoods"), the date of the policy wording shown beside the form, and a flag if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

There's no need to tell us about anyone's health through the form, so please don't.

From phone calls

When you call, Franklin Environmental Services sees your number and the call time, and hears what you share. We don't record calls or use tracking phone numbers at the moment.

From your visit

Our web host, Cloudflare, handles routine technical data (IP address, browser and device type, pages requested) to serve pages and fend off attacks. Your browser also keeps one small setting so our privacy notice stays closed once you've dismissed it. The cookie policy has details.

What do we use it for?

  • Getting you the call back you asked for, about radon or mold.
  • Following up on that request and answering questions.
  • Stopping spam and misuse and keeping the site secure.
  • Keeping basic business records and meeting the law.

Who gets it?

  • Franklin Environmental Services. Our sponsor receives every call-back request so it can contact you about the service you asked about.
  • Other service providers. We may share your request with other independent radon, mold or home-service companies that can help, and they may pay for it. Some state laws, Tennessee's included, may treat that as a "sale" of personal information. You can opt out; see below.
  • Vendors that keep the site running, such as hosting and, later on, form or customer-management software, which may use the data only to provide that service.
  • Others where required, for example to answer lawful requests, protect people's safety, or as part of selling or merging the business.

How do you exercise your privacy rights?

Tennessee's Information Protection Act (Tenn. Code Ann. § 47-18-3301 et seq., effective July 1, 2025) gives Tennessee residents rights over their personal information when a business meets the Act's size thresholds. We'll honor the same requests from any Tennessee resident whether or not the Act covers us:

  • Know and access: find out whether we have your information and get a copy you can take elsewhere.
  • Correct anything inaccurate.
  • Delete what we hold about you.
  • Opt out of sales of your information, targeted advertising and profiling (we do neither of the last two today).

To make a request, email privacy@nashvillemoldandradon.com with your name and the phone number you gave us. We may check it's really you before acting. Expect an answer within 45 days; if it will take longer (up to another 45 days), we'll explain why.

If we turn a request down, reply with the word "Appeal" and we'll review it and answer within 60 days. You can also contact the Tennessee Attorney General.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal when you submit the form, we treat that request as opted out of sale or sharing. Using any of these rights won't change how we treat you.

Will you call or text me?

Sending the form means you agree to a phone call about that request. You'll only be called about it. Say so on the call, or contact us, and the calls stop.

How long do you keep it, and how is it protected?

Requests are kept only as long as needed to put you in touch and keep ordinary business and legal records, then deleted. Pages are served over HTTPS only, the site runs no outside scripts, and access to form data is limited. No website is risk-free, so keep sensitive details out of the form.

Children

The site is for adults, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Updates

Before we change how information is used, for example by adding analytics or call tracking, we'll update this page and its date, and ask your permission before any optional cookies are set. Last updated .
